This seems to be the scam of the month, and a lot of players are falling for it. If somebody says they'll buy you a gift, but only if you buy one for them first, they are lying. ourWorld Support WILL NOT replace Gems lost in this manner, so only buy gifts for your real friends, and only because you want them to have something, not to try and get something in return.

Also, this sort of behaviour is officially considered fraud and a violation of the ourWorld Code of Conduct. If you promise a gift to another player in exchange for something without any Gems in your account to at least back up your promise, it is likely your account will temporarily or permanently lose its Chat ability.

Yea. its kinda sad im sure that happens to many new people. But Its pretty easy to tell when someones lying also. Coz they'll be like
"If u get me a gift ill get you a gift for 30 gems"
"What do yew want..?"
"The dress (or whatever item)"
"Well if u have 30 gems why dont u go buy it urself?"
"Oh i dont have 30 gems though"
"Then how wud u get me a gift???"

"Buy me a gft and ill buy u 600 gems"
"if u have 600 gems cant u buy it uself?"
"I dont have 600 my mum wont let me"
"Then how wud u buy them for me?"
"I have $20 right here ill buy them now..
There i just bought it"
"Well what was the point of that???"

So its really really easy to tell when someones lying. And i think about 99 % of the time random strangers are.

Only believe ur close friends! Or ppl u kno in rl who r on the game.
